Volunteer Needed: Project Coordinator
The Arab Community Centre in Britain (ACC) is a nonprofit organization, registered in the UK in 2022. We work to connect and support the Arab community in the UK, fostering a greater understanding and appreciation of Arab culture amongst people of all backgrounds, giving special attention to migrants and helping them build and lead safe, happy, and productive lives in the UK.
Our main working area
- Helping Arab migrants integrate and adapt to their new environment in the UK.
- Providing a hub and open space for Arabs in the UK to communicate, show their talents, and build support networks.
- Celebrating and telling the untold history of the Arabs in the UK by documenting and presenting their achievements and contributions.
About this volunteering opportunity
Main purpose of the role:
We are looking for a Project Coordinator Volunteer to help us deliver a range of projects to support the ACC’s growth.
The Project Coordinator will play a vital role in working closely with stakeholders across all levels of ACC to help ensure projects are delivered on time.
Key tasks and responsibilities:
- Ensuring the successful delivery of ACC projects.
- Maintain, track projects progression and ensuring that project milestones are reached.
- Establishing and maintaining regular partners and members communications during the projects.
Practical considerations:
- We are looking for someone to help for one or two days per week. We are very flexible with times and days, so would suit someone who is looking to volunteer to help the local community.
- This is a work from home opportunity.
- This is an unpaid role.
